Sergei Fedorov will be leaving the Washington Capitals after some big plays this year. He was becoming a big player in the league but he has decided he wants to join his brother over in Metallurg, in Russia, where he has signed a deal to play. This will probably be more fitting for him, although he has been a big leader on the team for the last several years. The team has been in the playoffs for both of the last two years and has become a great team with him back. Fedorov will be headed back to his native Russia and it will be a good place for him to be. We’ll be ready to see him playing over there and hopefully he’ll come on back to the NHL in a year or two!
